My name is Fran Chance, the founder of Reel Recordings and I want to start by assuring you that I truly understand what is needed from a reel to secure professional VO work. This is because I have over 6 years experience as a voice over agent and had the pleasure of working with some of the UK’s finest acting talents. It’s why I work closely with the likes of United Voices, Yakety Yak, Say So Voices, Qvoice and Hhush and they recommend me to all of their artists.
I started my career at Excellent Talent before moving to Sue Terry Voices and after an exciting few years there, I left to set up a new and now thriving VO department at Shepherd Management. Over the years, I have been contacted by hundreds of actors looking for representation and quickly realised something – a good voice reel is hard to come by! I know only too well that an outstanding reel is vital in the search for both an agent and professional VO work. I am happy to say that I can help actors put together a high quality reel that doesn’t cost the earth and give them a better chance to secure work.
We start with an initial consultation which will give us the opportunity to really understand you as a performer. Time will be spent getting to understand your strengths and work out the best combination of tracks for you. We promise a unique bespoke service – we don’t work to a set design, but tailor each package to the individual performer.
Whereas other voice reel companies have a limited number of scripts and the same ones are used over and over again, we have a huge library available to us and the process of choosing scripts is a considered and detailed operation. Our aim is to produce something that sounds like a compilation of actual work, not a demo reel. This is why so many agencies recommend us and use us for their own clients.
Most importantly, you will be given time in the recording session to hone your skill. We are the only voice reel company to use a top Soho post production studio. This gives you the chance to experience how a professional voice job works – and you’ll sound better! We will guide and support you and you’ll leave the session knowing some of the tricks of the trade.
